Cat drooling excessively

I adopted a male Maine Coon cat about 2 or 3 years old. The cat has a problem with excessive drooling. I checked his problem on the internet and the reason given was either a mouth or respiratory condition. I called the adoption shelter and explained my concern. I was told the cat had been adopted and returned because he was TOO AFFECTIONATE. They asked me to bring him in to be checked by their doctor which I did immediately. The doctor said he was healthy and could not find any problems. The drooling is so bad that we cannot hold or love him the way he should be loved. I am afraid that if he is returned again he will be adopted again and returned again and that would be very traumatic for the cat. Please give me your honest opinion as what to do. Thank you.

Cat with fleas and scabs around ears

My cat (2.5yo male Domestic Short Hair, neutered) is an indoor/outdoor cat. A few months ago my cat started getting fleas so I began treating him with generic flea medicine but last month decided to switch to Frontline topical medicine because everyone I know swears by it. It seems to have helped but fleas still exist. When he started getting fleas I notices that some bumps were forming behind his ears, which turned out to be what I believe are scabs, probably from itching. Those bumps/scabs have spread to parts of the back of his head, under his chin, and random places on his back and underside. Do you believe they are most likely just cuts/scabs from itching? If so, is there anything I can do/purchase to heal them. I thought that they would just heal over time but they seem to have just gotten worse. I brush him nearly everyday with a flea comb and it takes fleas and i am guessing scabs off. I tried not combing him for a few days to not disturb the scabs but that didn't seem to do anything. Anything you can tell me would be benefical. I can email you a picture I took of one of the areas but it is not the best quality. I look forward to your response.

Cat urinating with hint of pink possible blood

I noticed about 2 days ago my cat (7yo Domestic Short Hair male neutered) was making alot of trips to the litter box and then yesterday he urinated on the floor and the urine had a red tint to it.Then today he is still making often trips to the litter box and he seems to be having problems urinating, also I have found pink spots on the carpet in areas that he has been laying. His appetite seems fine and his behavior seems pretty much normal. I can't afford to take him to the vet and I was wondering if knew what the problem might be so I can try to find out how costly it will be and if this will lead to death if I can't afford to treat it.

Female cat with bloody discharge from vagina

Our (1yo female DSH) neutered cat (neutered prior to our ownership) has had intermittent small volume bloody discharge from her vagina for the last 3 months. On exam her vulva had an ulcerated area and our veternarian is planning an exam under anesthesia later this week. She has no weight loss, a healthy appetite, and has had no change in activity. She is the only animal in our home. What do you believe this could be?

Cat sudden change in behavior and hiding all the time

Recently something happened to my cat (3yo female neutered DSH) and I'm not sure what is wrong with her. She is very skittish and refuses to come out from under the blankets or her hiding places except to eat, drink and go to the bathroom. It's like she comes out and something scares her and she RUNS back to the covers. Usually she is a very docile and very friendly kitty. What usually causes this? Should I be worried and will it go away? She won't even come out for her favorite toys or catnip. I'm not sure what would have scared her so badly or is hurting her so badly. Another think I'm noticing is that she is licking her self a lot more than usual.

Cat urinating on bed

My cat (10mo male neutered domestic short haired cat) acts out by urinating on my bed during times he is unhappy with me or the his situation. For example, when I have guests ( I do frequently) he usually urinates on my bed . I recently took a 5 day trip ( he was very well cared for when i was gone) and he peed on my bed 6 different times. My question is this : how do I control this behaviour? I can not keep him out of my room since I live in an apartment with no doors and any how even if I did figure out how to keep him away from the bed I feel like he would just pick another spot to urinate. My vet has suggested kitty porzac but really, I would only like to use this as a very last resort. I keep the litter box clean and he knows how to use it. He lives indoors and outdoors since the apartment is small he seems to get pent up when I keep him indoors all the time . Do you have any suggestions? Thanks , I am really struggling with this. I will soon have to throw all my bedding away. P.S. I recently purchased and cleaned my sheets with the special animal stain cleaning product with enzymes.
