Cat constipation
My cat has had a problem for the last 3 yrs with elimination. His stool is so large that it is almost impossible for him to pass. I have given him a laxative for cats, I have had to digitally disimpact him. The problem seems to be growing worse as he ages. He is an indoor cat and I have taken him to the area vet once for this and it cost me a couple of hundred dollars for him to get enemas and stay overnight. The vet was called once more and he is the one that suggested the disempacting. I just can't stand doing that anymore. Is there anything else I can do to help him? I have been thinking of having him put to sleep . He is getting ill a lot, throwing up and as a nurse I know this isn't good for him. I just need advice from someone who isn't going to gain a lot of money from this so I can do what is best for him. The vet here is very expensive and does more then he should sometimes.Thank you for any advice you can give me. |

Purchasing puppy with one blue eye
I am looking to purchase a Tibetan Spaniel puppy who is white and sable parti color. His left eye has a sable patch around it. The right side of his face is white. Instead of being black, his right eyelids are pink and he has a blue ring around his pupil. What has caused this? What problems may he encounter due to this? Is it hereditary? AND can it be passed on to his offspring? The breeder says he is not blind. Thank you!
