Feline Asthma treatment
Two years ago she was diagnosed with Feline Asthma and prescribed Delta Albaplex. It only comes in pill form and at 70 years old with arthritis, it's getting very hard and painful for me to give her this pill. Is there any other medication that would be easier for me to administer? Also she still has coughing fits 4-5 times daily. She still eats and acts normal otherwise. |

Cat wheezing and coughing
We have been feeding a feral stray cat (probably over 10 years old, he's a Domestic Short Haired neutered male) for 6 years now. We trapped him early on and had him vacinated and neutered. For years now he's been coughing and wheezing. At times he gets worse and has nasal and eye discharge but that eventually clears up. We trapped him again and took him to the vet. Several of his teeth fell out while being examined and he has severe dental disease. The vet said his coughing and wheezing were probably due to his dental disease and his lungs "didn't sound that bad". Have you heard of dental disease causing respiratory problems or should we go for another opinion?
