Dog with changing splenic mass size on ultrasoundIn your opinion what is the most likely reason for a first ultrasound report to show a 10x8x7 cm splenic mass followed by another ultrasound 8 days later(different radiologist)showing a 2.8cm splenic mass? could it be shrinking, or is it more likely one of reports was wrong? Dog with lump on ribcageRight below her rib cage in the center I noticed a hard bump. Kind of round. You can't feel it unless you are pressing on it. I don't know if it's part of her anatomy or something to be concerned about? It may have always been there and now I am just noticing, but I just wanted to make sure this is normal (i.e. ribs, organ, muscle, etc). Hopefully I am just being overly concerned. Dog eating prepared food and cat foodMy puppy (11mo Dachshund - female neutered) has been a very picky eater and very often I prepare food for her, meat and vegetables, first is that healthly enough and she also eats dry food from the cat's dish is that a problem? She appears healthy, her wt. is 8 lbs. |

Dog with fleas
Last night my 7yo female neutered maltese was scatching a little & I noticed that the day before she did a little too. I rolled her over to look through her and found a flea...then 2 more a little bit later. I immediately ran to the store and bought Sergeants flea control that you put on their back between the shoulder blades & put that on her immediatedly. I washed all of her bedding & have vaccumed the house at least 3 times since. We have a huge 2 level house and the dog is 99.9% of the time on our main level in our living room & dining room. I found only 2 today...and that was early this morning...I have not seen any since...but am scared to death of how many fleas are in our house that I cannot see. I am afraid they are crawling everywhere & don't know where to start. The dog sometimes goes upstairs in our bedrooms.....I am afraid these pests could be in closets & etc....any advice would be greatly appreciated! - Click
