Dog eating garbage

My golden retriever got into a garbage bag 5 days ago and ate some chicken bones and and ear of corn.  She just started having problems to day with diarreha and I am wondering if there is anything I can do to help her with this problem??  She has been eating, drinking and acting normally.  Will she pass the bones or should I seek veterinary attention?

Dog with gas bubbles

Are there any herbal or home remedies to help my dog with her gas bubbles? I usually give her a Tums and that helps, but is there anyway to prevent them or get rid of them. She still eats and has boul movements, so it is not hampering her in anyway except she is not comfortable lying down.

Giving dog painkillers

My 16yo dog has just had surgery and the pain meds do not seem to be working.  The dosage is .25ml of Bruprenex.  Is there something I can do until I see her vet in the morning.

Dog losing weight and stumbling

Our dog was eating fine until a couple of weeks ago. Also even thought he has been eating normal he has been losing weight and his ribs are showing. He has trouble with his balance and walking, its not bad but he stumbles now and then. I started feeding him scrambled eggs which seems to be the only thing he eats. He had a little roast beef last night, but doesn't seem interested in his dog food. I have dry food out for him but he isn't eating much, and he won't eat his wet food which he use to love. He is still drinking water. He is still alert and doesn't seem in pain, he just is acting real old. What should we do? Can the Vet help?

Vet question of the day

Add to Dog with fleas
Last night  my 7yo female neutered maltese was scatching a little & I noticed that the day before she did a little too.  I rolled her over to look through her and found a flea...then 2 more a little bit later.  I immediately ran to the store and bought Sergeants flea control that you put on their back between the shoulder blades & put that on her immediatedly.  I washed all of her bedding & have vaccumed the house at least 3 times since.  We have a huge 2 level house and the dog is 99.9% of the time on our main level in our living room & dining room.  I found only 2 today...and that was early this morning...I have not seen any since...but am scared to death of how many fleas are in our house that I cannot see.  I am afraid they are crawling everywhere & don't know where to start.  The dog sometimes goes upstairs in our bedrooms.....I am afraid these pests could be in closets & etc....any advice would be greatly appreciated! - Click here to read the answer
