Dog losing weight and stumbling

Our dog was eating fine until a couple of weeks ago. Also even thought he has been eating normal he has been losing weight and his ribs are showing. He has trouble with his balance and walking, its not bad but he stumbles now and then. I started feeding him scrambled eggs which seems to be the only thing he eats. He had a little roast beef last night, but doesn't seem interested in his dog food. I have dry food out for him but he isn't eating much, and he won't eat his wet food which he use to love. He is still drinking water. He is still alert and doesn't seem in pain, he just is acting real old. What should we do? Can the Vet help?

Dog drinking and throwing up

Whenever my dog drinks a lot of water, it causes her to throw up.  We have tried to limit the water that we have available to her, but it doesnt matter.  If there is water in her bowl, she will drink it all, fast, and then invariable throw up shortly after.  I have also noticed that if she eats ice cubes (which she likes) it also causes her to throw up.  I don't want to run the risk of dehydrating her, but also am tired of cleaning up the mess.  What could be causing this?  It has been happening for the past 2 months.

Dog with rash on neck

My Dog is an indoor dog in the winter, outdoor in the summer - So currently the majority of the time he is outside.  A few months ago he developed a red swollen rash on his neck that was obviously bothering him - I went on line to do some research on it and though maybe they were 'Hot Spots' - I used a medicated ointment recommended at my local pet store and the rash went away within about a week. A few days ago the rash has returned, I medicated it again and it seems to be getting better however my dog is not acting himself, he is usually playful and has a lot of energy and over the last few days he has been fatigued and lethargic.  In addition because I have been handling him and petting him, I have developed a slight rash on my arm.  It appears to be the same thing he had only not as severe.  They are small bumps that almost look like a mosquito bite.  I have put an antibiotic ointment on them and they are going away quickly and I feel fine. But I am worried about my dog's behavior and that he is now not acting himeself.

Attention seeking dog

Our dog is constantly seeking our attention, by this I mean all the time...at night when we are just sitting around he is pacing and trying to get us to pay attention to just him and gets agitated when we don't.  Is this normal?  He didn't always act this way...could it be a disorder or something serious or is it most likely just a behavioral issue??  Please help...

Dog with lump on head

Cisco is 16years old, almost blind and deaf. Recently he developed a big 'gooseegg' bump over his left eye. It does not seem to bother him but it is a worry. I would not submit him to surgery at his age and condition but wondered if you can give me any advice. My wife talked to our vet but he simply said that he did not advise surgery for Cisco as this might cause the problem to spread. What do you suggest.

Add to Female cat with bloody discharge from vagina
Our (1yo female DSH) neutered cat (neutered prior to our ownership) has had intermittent small volume bloody discharge from her vagina for the last 3 months. On exam her vulva had an ulcerated area and our veternarian is planning an exam under anesthesia later this week. She has no weight loss, a healthy appetite, and has had no change in activity. She is the only animal in our home. What do you believe this could be? - Click here to read the answer
