dog vomiting remedy suggestionsMy dog, Max (10yo Lab mix male neutered), has diarrhea and keeps trying to vomit (unsucessfully). He cannot get comfortable, and is panting. What remedies would you recommend?
dog with tremors at restour dog (4yo female neutered Mini Schnauzer) has started having tremors or spasms that only seem to happen when she is resting. they can go on itermittantly for 10-15mins. her regular vet examined her but did not do blood work. he said that some dogs just have tremors and the testing would be painful and invasive to really determine the cause. otherwise she is perfectly healthy and gets a fair amount of exercise. what are your feelings on this and do you have any idea what might cause these tremors?
scooting dogHello...My pug (1.5yr female) sits on her rear end and spins around excessively on the carpet...She seems to at times attempt to reach around with her head and bit her butt, but can't get her head around that far...She at times whines when she spins.
dog ears not sitting rightIn the last couple of weeks I have noticed that my puppies (3mo male) ears are not laying flat against his head like most dachshunds do and his did previously. The ears now seem to have a wrinkle in them and are more bunched at the back of his head (almost on top of its self). When flattened the ears appear to be of normal size vs. his head but just seem in the last couple of weeks to be more wrinkled on top of themselves. Is this a normal part of his growth cycle and will this even out?
Dog losing control of bladderAbout once a year my dog (7yo Standard Poodle female neutered) loses bladder control for a couple of days at a time. If I take her outside every 30 minutes she can avoid an accident but otherwise she wets herself while lying down. During this time she drinks a lot more water than usual. We went to the vet the first time it happened about four years ago and we were told that it was a hormonal problem that usually occurs with spayed females and we should only worry about having it treated if it occurs more than once a month. I'm okay with that answer, but I've noticed that the incontinence problems seem to coincide with a day of heavy physical exertion, such as a very long hike or a day at the lake swimming after sticks and whatnot. She normally gets a decent amount of excersize per day including moderate walks and frisbee throwing. Could her incontinence be related to this increase in physical activity? Should we limit her excersize if it is? If it's just a hormonal issue, why does she have such increased thirst during these periods of incontinence? Is it okay to leave it untreated if it's only occuring about once a year? Just out of curiosity, why does this only happen for a few days at a time and then clear up? If she had a hormonal imbalance wouldn't this be a regularly occuring thing? Thank you.

Female cat with bloody discharge from vagina
Our (1yo female DSH) neutered cat (neutered prior to our ownership) has had intermittent small volume bloody discharge from her vagina for the last 3 months. On exam her vulva had an ulcerated area and our veternarian is planning an exam under anesthesia later this week. She has no weight loss, a healthy appetite, and has had no change in activity. She is the only animal in our home. What do you believe this could be?
