Dog pacing around at night
My 9yo female Border Collie mix hides under whatever, jumps up on bed in the middle of night and just stands there. She will pace around furniture and just stand. Jumps up on my husband in the recliner. She has done the middle of night thing twice and the last 2 evenings has done it around 6:30 and does it for nearly 3 hours. No evidence of pain. Her skin seems hot but she is hot a lot of the time. She loves it outside. We live on a nonwork farm and she gets plenty of exercise. Afterwards seems to be back to normal. |

Dog with diarrhea from arthritis drugs and antacids
My 10yo female neutered Border collie dog developed arthritis this spring and was placed on Etogesic 300 mg. daily for the past 6 weeks. I also recently started her on Glucosamine and Chondoitin. Two days ago, she developed blood tinged diarrhea and I took her off all meds and started her on a diet of boiled chicken/hamburg and rice. Can she take Pepcid or Protonix or other antacid?
