Dog with swollen gland near anus
I just noticed that one of my dog's (3yo female neutered black Labrador) glands on the outside of her anus is swollen a bit and a little red. she scraped her bottom along the carpet and is licking it a bit more. we have been swimming in the lake a lot and was wondering what she has and what i can do. |

Dog pacing around at night
My 9yo female Border Collie mix hides under whatever, jumps up on bed in the middle of night and just stands there. She will pace around furniture and just stand. Jumps up on my husband in the recliner. She has done the middle of night thing twice and the last 2 evenings has done it around 6:30 and does it for nearly 3 hours. No evidence of pain. Her skin seems hot but she is hot a lot of the time. She loves it outside. We live on a nonwork farm and she gets plenty of exercise. Afterwards seems to be back to normal. - Click
