Dog snoring
My dog (3-4yo female neutered Spaniel mix) has been snoring a lot lately. That is no so much my concern as sometimes her whole body shakes including her head..eyes..mouth.. and while she shakes..she pants sometimes. When I call her name, thinking she is dreaming, she looks at me then lays back down and does it again within seconds. She sleeps a lot more now than ever..Do you think there is something to be concerned about? |

Cat wheezing and coughing
We have been feeding a feral stray cat (probably over 10 years old, he's a Domestic Short Haired neutered male) for 6 years now. We trapped him early on and had him vacinated and neutered. For years now he's been coughing and wheezing. At times he gets worse and has nasal and eye discharge but that eventually clears up. We trapped him again and took him to the vet. Several of his teeth fell out while being examined and he has severe dental disease. The vet said his coughing and wheezing were probably due to his dental disease and his lungs "didn't sound that bad". Have you heard of dental disease causing respiratory problems or should we go for another opinion?
