Dog urinating everywhere
we live in an apartment in germany(military) vet has no idea and does not care what is wrong and no access to another. she has a tucked vulva and just now in heat for the first time (she is a 13mo Doberman). goes out every two house since we had her. just now got her to stop peeing in her cage. urinates on anything absorbant. beds, pillows pet beds etc the wood floor too. cannot even put o towel in her cage. she has done this since we brought her home and is now caged until potty eating walks and playtime. already checked for urinary tract infection and it was negative. dont know what else to do. i have to follow her around when she is out . she empties her bladder outside then squats and dribbles and sometimes squats and nothing comes out. at the end of my rope with my doggy. what should she be checked for??? she she have the skin around her vulva removed or lifted? should she be spayed.what else can i do? i love my doggy .i had her shipped here from missouri.i have another dobie and three kids that would be devastated if we had to give her up and i refuse to do that i dont want to have to make her an outdoor dog when we move either . i dont belive in that. she has always been inside. please help. |

Car sick dog
My 1yo Labrador hates car-rides. He would make a huge fuss when we try to get him into the car so we've only tried to get him into the car whenever necessary like on vet visits. He would pant a lot, run away and hide, and when we get him into the car (eventually) he would salivate, pace about and at times end up vomiting. We tried to give him treats during our journey, withholding food before the journey. Every time we need to go some where we need to get a tranquilizer into him just to get him settled enough to get into the car! Is there some way of getting him to accept that car rides are fun? - Click
