Dog with lump on cheek
At her initial veterinary visit yesterday (4/1) she (9mo female neutered Border Collie) was given a clean bill of health except tapeworms (received Droncit injection) and upper respiratory infection (Rx - cephalexin 500mg BID x 10days). A couple hours following the vet visit a pea-sized nodule appeared under the skin on her cheek. It's round, feels encapsulated and does not seem to be painful. It just popped up. She had been outside for a little while (insect bite?) and also had a voracious bone-chewing session that afternoon (hematoma?). Would appreciate your advice... thanks for the convenient service! |

Feline Leukemia Virus - getting a new cat after another one has died from FeLV
My cat of old died a month ago from Feline Leukemia. The wife and I are thinking of getting a new kitten soon. How long should we wait before getting one? We don't want the kitten to get it too. We've steamcleaned the carpets and cleaned the house as much as we could. Is there anything else we should be doing? - Click
