Dog with rash on neck
My Dog is an indoor dog in the winter, outdoor in the summer - So currently the majority of the time he is outside. A few months ago he developed a red swollen rash on his neck that was obviously bothering him - I went on line to do some research on it and though maybe they were 'Hot Spots' - I used a medicated ointment recommended at my local pet store and the rash went away within about a week. A few days ago the rash has returned, I medicated it again and it seems to be getting better however my dog is not acting himself, he is usually playful and has a lot of energy and over the last few days he has been fatigued and lethargic. In addition because I have been handling him and petting him, I have developed a slight rash on my arm. It appears to be the same thing he had only not as severe. They are small bumps that almost look like a mosquito bite. I have put an antibiotic ointment on them and they are going away quickly and I feel fine. But I am worried about my dog's behavior and that he is now not acting himeself. |

Cat recovering from hepatic lipidosis-fatty liver disease
My Silver Tabby (8yo female neutered) is now recovering nicely, from Hepatic Lipidosis, and is eating and drinking on her own.She now weighs 8 pounds, and is active and playful.I can feel her ribs, but they have a covering of fat, so I'm wondering, is this a good weight for her? She eats about a quarter of a cup of Feline Iams Adult Maintenance a day, and that has recently increased a bit.Is that enough? Most of the time when I'm at work, she sleeps, and is active in the evening. Thanks!
