Frontline Spray
When Frontline first came out with the spray product with low toxicity and was highly effective against fleas, it
took the cat and dog world by storm. The only disadvantage was that you had to spray (nearly use the whole
bottle with some long haired dogs) it all over the animal and most animals especially cats disliked it immensely.
There was also the fact that you had to avoid contact with the eyes so the muzzle area and parts of the head
were hard to apply the spray to you had to coat your gloved hands with it and apply it manually to those hard to
reach areas. Still, it was remarkably effective in its control of fleas especially important in dogs and cats with
flea allergies.
This has taken a back seat now with the new spot on treatments which are both easy to apply and fuss free. I still like to keep a bottle around to spray the bedding and kennel areas to knock out the adults who have jumped off to lay eggs.
