Dog with changing splenic mass size on ultrasound
In your opinion what is the most likely reason for a first ultrasound report to show a 10×8x7 cm splenic mass followed by another ultrasound 8 days later(different radiologist)showing a 2.8cm splenic mass? could it be shrinking, or is it more likely one of reports was wrong? My dog is a 10yo female neutered Labrador Cross.

Dog with lump on ribcage
Right below her rib cage (she’s a 15 mo female neutered Labrador) in the center I noticed a hard bump. Kind of round. You can’t feel it unless you are pressing on it. I don’t know if it’s part of her anatomy or something to be concerned about? It may have always been there and now I am just noticing, but I just wanted to make sure this is normal (i.e. ribs, organ, muscle, etc). Hopefully I am just being overly concerned. Dog eating prepared food and cat food
My puppy (11mo Dachshund – female neutered) has been a very picky eater and very often I prepare food for her, meat and vegetables, first is that healthly enough and she also eats dry food from the cat’s dish is that a problem? She appears healthy, her wt. is 8 lbs.
